Chrystan Paul

Chrystan is one of the early pioneers of the co-living sector in Australia, having co-founded Caper Co-Living in 2017 and subsequently merging Caper with Singapore-based operator Hmlet in early 2019 to launch Hmlet Australia.

After seeing the success of the co-living model overseas and personally experiencing the frustrations of renting in Sydney, Chrystan saw a clear opportunity to build a co-living business to disrupt the traditional renting model and create a living experience that truly resonates with millennials renting in major Australian cities.

As now the largest co-living business in Australia, Hmlet Australia is on track to house over 500 members across Sydney and has immediate plans to enter Melbourne and Brisbane.
