Kate Meyrick


Kate Meyrick has more than twenty-five years in the property industry and has worked throughout Europe and Australia as well as Asia and the USA as an urbanist and place maker.

For more than a decade, Kate has been the chief executive of The Hornery Institute, a non-profit organisation specialising in community development, working alongside Government, industry and community partners to create major urban infrastructure and regeneration projects nation-wide.

She has also been influential in shaping thinking about the global competitiveness of Australian Cities, the future of Sydney Harbour Foreshore and the Sydney Midtown:Central Station precinct.

Recently Kate has been focusing on rail led urban renaissance projects working across Australia, the UK and US to position projects to achieve maximum city transformation impact across all stakeholders.
