Inspired by nature, Koichi Takada continues to push the boundaries of modern architecture. He’ll explore the unification of landscape and building architecture in this powerful keynote.
Koichi Takada belongs to a new generation of architects that strive to bring nature back into the urban environment — an approach he matured after living in Tokyo, New York and London.
He established his practice in 2008 and brings a Japanese sensibility to Australian architecture where each project embodies his commitment to organic form and consideration for human experience.
His work now spans the globe with projects underway in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Tokyo, Shanghai, Los Angeles, Doha and Mexico City.
He will present a keynote on biophylic architecture and the naturalisation of the built form.
